The Rev. Hollis Hiscock
Interim Priest in Charge
Coupled with the above is over 55 years as an ordained minister/priest in the Anglican Church of Canada. I love working in large parishes and have been blessed to minister in four across Canada. Flowers Cove (32 congregations) and Cow Head (17 congregations) Parishes in Northern Newfoundland, travelling 225 and 175 kilometres respectively; St. Thomas’ Parish St. John’s Newfoundland was the largest Anglican parish in Canada with over 1,100 families when I served there, and St. John’s York Mills Toronto, one of the largest parishes in Toronto Diocese.
In retirement, I have served as Interim Minister at St. George’s Guelph, St. John’s Rockwood, St. Luke’s Palermo, Grace Milton, St. Cuthbert’s Oakville and St. John’s Weston Road Toronto. In addition, I have conducted worship in over 25 parishes in Niagara Diocese and beyond. For eight years I served as Editor of the Niagara Anglican paper.
Indeed, I have been richly blessed and my blessings continue with my appointment as Priest-in-Charge of St. Christopher’s.
